Service Terms & Conditions

General

By booking a service with Shawly Oven Care, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure the service can be carried out safely, efficiently and fairly for both parties.

Access & Preparation Requirements

  • The sink area must be clear prior to arrival. This is used only for rinsing cloths.
  • A clear work surface must be available to safely rest oven doors during cleaning.
  • Clear and suitable parking is required due to the transportation of heavy equipment and the use of gas for heating the dip tank.
  • Parking must be available outside the property or on the driveway.

Appliance Condition & Disclosure

  • The oven and any appliances to be cleaned must be in full working order.
  • Any known faults or issues must be disclosed at the time of enquiry.
  • If an undisclosed issue is discovered on arrival, the clean will be cancelled.
  • In such cases, the full oven cleaning fee will still be chargeable.

Appointment Confirmations

  • A reminder message will be sent the evening before your appointment.
  • This reminder must be acknowledged to confirm the booking.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a £25 cancellation fee, or one opportunity to reschedule.
  • Any forgotten or missed appointments will incur a £25 fee.
  • If access to the property has not been left as pre-arranged, or the appointment is forgotten, the full oven cleaning fee will still be chargeable.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of the clean.
  • Accepted payment methods are cash or bank transfer only.
